Sharon Osbourne, the renowned television personality, has chosen to confront the ongoing debate surrounding the use of Ozempic as a weight loss aid, asserting that she harbors no regrets about her decision.
The 70-year-old TV star is resolute in her quest for a “healthy balance” in her weight loss journey. She notably shed 30 pounds earlier this year, attributing her success to the controversial drug Ozempic, primarily employed for managing Type 2 diabetes.
In a candid conversation with E! News, Osbourne made her stance clear, stating, “It’s not a clandestine matter when you’ve employed a tool to aid in weight loss, a perfectly acceptable practice. There’s no need for pretense.”
It’s worth noting that Sharon Osbourne is no longer reliant on the weight loss drug, but she remains committed to achieving equilibrium in her life.
She elaborated, saying, “I’ve reached a point where I have to focus on maintaining. In the past, I was at my heaviest, weighing 230 pounds. Today, I’m under 100 pounds, and I aim to maintain around 105 pounds because I’ve become too slender. It’s about striving for a healthy balance.”
Earlier this month, Sharon Osbourne, who is married to the legendary Ozzy Osbourne of Black Sabbath, firmly defended her use of Ozempic for weight loss, asserting that it shouldn’t be perceived as “cheating.” She urged people to adopt a more relaxed perspective regarding the drug’s utilization.
In an interview with MailOnline, she expressed her viewpoint: “Some individuals believe that it’s a form of cheating because you haven’t devoted three hours a day to working out or haven’t enlisted the services of a remarkable new trainer. But it’s not cheating. It’s merely a choice made to lose weight. So, what’s the fuss all about? I don’t understand it.”
Additionally, Sharon Osbourne advocated for honesty among those who undergo procedures to enhance their appearance.
