Save Up to 42% on These Horizon Fitness Treadmills Right Now

by Daisy

It’s no secret that a new treadmill can cost you a pretty penny. But given how hot it is these days, we wouldn’t blame you for wanting to add one to your home gym when it’s too hot to spend much time outside or when that sudden summer storm hits. And though some treadmills can be costly, we’re happy to report that Horizon Fitness has some models on sale for well under $1,000.

On Horizon Fitness’ website, you can nab the T101 and T202 treadmills for up to 39 percent off. But that’s before you utilize our special code; otherwise, you can get up to 42 percent off when you apply the code RWLETSGO50 at checkout, which will shave an additional $50 off the sale price of each treadmill.

This means that the T101, usually going for almost $1,000, will be just $599, and the T202 will be $749 instead of its usual price of nearly $1,300. No worries if you need time to think it over: You have until Monday, July 15 to use this code before it expires.

Our editors have recommended Horizon Fitness’ 7.0 AT and 7.8 AT treadmills in our guides to the best treadmills and best advanced treadmills, respectively. We asked for Runner-in-Chief Jeff Dengate’s thoughts: “The T101 and T202 share some of the same features of the 7.0 AT treadmill that has tested well and remains here at our headquarters for staff training. We love the handle-mounted dials that make it super easy and fast to change speed and incline. Those are included on both the T101 and T202,” he said. “There are some sacrifices when going for such an affordable treadmill. In this case, you don’t get a fancy display. But that’s not such a concern, because the machine has Bluetooth connectivity, letting you bring your own fitness program via your tablet or iPad.”

But if you’re unsure which one to go for, Dengate noted that the belt might make a difference. “One thing runners will notice about the T101 is the belt (20×55 inches) may feel a bit cramped. The T202 is 5 inches longer, so you feel like you can stride out better.”

Ultimately, Dengate recommends these machines if you want to use them “for occasional running and regular walking use.” If you plan to run on a treadmill only when the heat is unbearable or when a storm rolls through, you might want to grab one of these two models while you can save on them.
