Daniel Raynor submitted a retrospective application to Falkirk Council on April 11 to change the use of the premises at Unit 5, 201 High Street, Falkirk, into a gym. The application was validated by the council on Tuesday, April 15.
As the application is retrospective, planning officers, acting under delegated authority, will decide whether the gym can remain in place.
This follows a previous decision on September 10 last year, when planning officers approved a proposal by Hannigan Hotels Ltd to convert 150 High Street, Falkirk, into a gym and seven flats.
In a separate case, Girl Pwr Studios Ltd applied on August 2 last year to convert the first floor of the former Wilkies clothes shop at Newmarket Street, Falkirk, into a gym. However, the application was withdrawn by the applicant on January 17 this year.
