It is usually seen that if you do not eat dinner, you will lose a little weight, which is caused by a large amount of muscle loss. And a large amount of muscle loss will reduce our metabolic consumption and hinder our weight loss. You can’t lose weight by skipping dinner.
Why do we say that? Let’s take a look at the body’s diet throughout the day: breakfast may be eaten between 6-9 am, lunch may be eaten between 11-14 pm, and a normal dinner time will be around 17-20 pm. If there is no dinner, even if we eat a lot at noon, the digestion and absorption of lunch will be completed at 18:00 in the evening, and our bodies will be in an empty stomach for at least 10 hours until breakfast the next day. If it is unfortunate that we don’t eat much at noon and digest it at 15:00 in the afternoon, then our body will be in a fasting state for 14 hours. Fasting for such a long period of time will make our body think that it is famine, and thus actively enter a state of starvation. In a state of starvation, dietary intake of calories will be more easily converted into fat storage. This means that the next day’s breakfast and lunch will be more easily converted into fat, which is contrary to weight loss. It can be seen from the above that you cannot lose weight without eating dinner.
