Mark Wahlberg and Former Maple Leafs Player Tie Domi Visit Toronto Gym
Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg has once again made headlines for his surprise visit to a gym, this time in Toronto. Wahlberg, a Boston native, and former Toronto Maple Leafs player, Tie Domi, along with Domi’s wife Heather and daughter Carlin, dropped by the F45 Training Toronto Downtown gym located at King West and University Avenue on a Tuesday morning.
Philip Cormier, the owner and operator of the downtown Toronto branch, revealed to CTV News Toronto that the celebrity duo attended a private class alongside friends, family members, and other F45 gym trainers. Numerous videos shared on social media platforms captured Domi and Wahlberg enthusiastically participating in various exercises, posing for photos, and even breaking into dance during their workout session.
“[Wahlberg] is super approachable; everyone had the opportunity to speak with them, take a picture, and the same goes for Tie,” Cormier remarked to CTV News Toronto. “Just watching their dynamic together, it’s super fun. Honestly, the entire class had an electric ambiance.”
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Wahlberg and Domi have paid a visit to this downtown Toronto gym. Cormier disclosed, “This is the second time they’ve come; they came about four years ago in a very similar scenario. We have a long-standing relationship with both of them.”
Wahlberg’s fitness-related surprises in Toronto aren’t limited to the gym, though. Last summer, he made a sensational entrance at an F45 gym in Collingwood, Ontario, arriving via helicopter.
But Wahlberg’s impromptu visits in Toronto extended beyond fitness. The 52-year-old actor delighted guests at the Ritz Carlton hotel and Moxies by serving shots and drinks, including his own concoction, the “Marky Marg” cocktail.
In addition to his gym and hospitality ventures, Wahlberg made a promotional appearance at an LCBO store in Summerhill, endorsing Flecha Azul Blanco Tequila, a liquor brand in which he has invested. In another delightful coincidence, Max Domi, of the Domi family, joined Wahlberg for some snapshots at the store, adding to the excitement of Wahlberg’s Toronto escapade.
Mark Wahlberg’s unexpected visits continue to captivate Toronto and beyond, leaving a trail of excitement in their wake.
