Sharon Osbourne, a prominent television personality, has issued a note of caution regarding the use of Ozempic, a type 2 diabetes medication that has gained popularity among celebrities, after achieving a significant weight loss through its consumption.
Sharon Osbourne’s journey with Ozempic had an unexpected effect on her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, who playfully began addressing her with a different name due to her remarkable transformation.
“Ozzy’s having a go at me because he says I look like Mrs. Reagan,” Sharon humorously shared during an appearance on Piers Morgan’s TalkTV show, “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” on September 20. “He calls me Nancy Reagan all the time. So, it’s just time to stop.”
The 70-year-old TV personality opened up about her experience, emphasizing that she lost more weight than originally intended and, in light of this, offered a word of caution to others considering the use of this medication.
“You can’t stay on it forever. I’ve lost a total of 42 pounds now, and it’s just enough,” noted the former co-host of “The Talk.” She continued, “I didn’t actually plan to become this thin, but it happened, and I’ll probably regain the weight soon.”
Sharon Osbourne’s journey with Ozempic serves as a reminder of the importance of considering the potential consequences and limitations of medications like this, even when they yield significant results.
