Redditch, Worcestershire – Harry Williams, a dedicated fitness trainer, has achieved his lifelong dream of running his own fitness gym in Redditch. With the support of James Haynes, an apprentice surveyor at John Truslove, Harry’s vision became a reality as he opened “The Body Box” in a converted warehouse unit located at 83A Arthur Street, within the Lakeside district of Redditch.
Harry Williams expressed his excitement, saying, “I’ve aspired to become a personal trainer and establish my own gym since the age of 16. Even while working at Tesco, I was unwavering in my pursuit of owning a fitness facility. During the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic, I seized the opportunity to undertake a personal training course and subsequently launched my own personal training business known as ‘Trained By Haz.’ I began working as a self-employed trainer at Elite Fitness in Redditch to accumulate savings.”
Continuing, he shared, “I initiated my quest for a suitable location and, with the assistance of James Haynes from John Truslove, the unit at Arthur Street emerged as the perfect fit. I could vividly envision it, just as I had always dreamed.”
Harry praised the collaboration with James Haynes, stating, “James was tremendously supportive and ensured a seamless process throughout.”
Following an extensive fit-out to install gym equipment, “The Body Box Redditch” has enjoyed a successful launch. Harry commented, “I had developed a loyal customer base over the past few years, and the majority of them have joined me here. Additionally, we’ve been gradually expanding our membership base with a variety of weekly classes. The primary focus is on strength and fitness, and we’ve introduced spin classes, courtesy of a dedicated instructor.”
He further shared, “Our business is already breaking even, and we’re well ahead of our projected schedule. This allows us to continuously enhance our equipment offerings and expand our gym’s services.”
