In a recent stride toward enhanced convenience and innovation, fitness enthusiasts are reveling in the offerings of Zbon Fitness, the newly established fitness hub at the Midcoast Athletic Center in Warren.
Zbon Fitness distinguishes itself by extending 24/7 accessibility to its facility, providing members with the freedom to tailor their workouts to align with their individual schedules. This newfound flexibility not only caters to diverse lifestyles but also fosters a more inclusive and accessible fitness environment, empowering members to pursue their fitness goals on their terms.
Owner Zach Bonnevie articulated the philosophy behind Zbon Fitness, stating, “We believe in providing our members with the best tools to achieve their fitness goals. Our commitment to 24/7 access and a comprehensive range of equipment is aimed at fostering a supportive fitness community where everyone can thrive.”
Zbon Fitness has now expanded its footprint with locations in Yarmouth, Poland, Turner, and the recently added Warren site. Bonnevie, reflecting on the expansion, expressed his commitment to meeting the fitness needs of the Midcoast region, noting, “The Midcoast is a stunning region that was in need of a dependable and easily accessible gym. The community is welcoming and tightly bonded, which is what Zbon Fitness is all about.”
Bonnevie’s journey began with managing 50-70 client sessions per week across two gym locations. This experience planted the seed for the concept of opening his own fitness space. After inaugurating the Turner gym in 2020 and subsequently acquiring a Yarmouth location two years later, Zbon Fitness expanded its reach to Poland in 2023.
Zbon Fitness members enjoy access to state-of-the-art machines designed to optimize cardiovascular health, along with a diverse range of workout preferences, including free weights, cable machines, and various cardio equipment. The membership options cater to different preferences, with rates ranging from $15 for a day pass to $600 for a full-year membership, complemented by couples, family, or bi-weekly alternatives. The collaboration between Ben Teer, owner of Teer Basketball Training, and Zach Bonnevie proved pivotal in introducing the 24/7 gym concept at the Midcoast Athletic Center. Bonnevie expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “It was an easy yes, and we are thrilled to have successfully implemented it and be a part of this exciting venture.”
Bonnevie emphasized his dedication to the well-being of Maine residents, stating, “I have a strong affinity for Maine and enjoy assisting people in integrating health and wellness into their daily lives. It’s been a blessing, and I look forward to continuing to help as many individuals as possible. Fitness is a powerful tool, benefiting not only physical health but mental well-being, essential for an optimal quality of life.”
