Abbott Laboratories in the United States has developed a new type of weight loss drug Nometidine, which has been approved by the US FDA as an international patent with a dual mechanism of action. This weight loss drug is a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, and its most important feature is that it combines changes in diet and behavior to increase body satiety and reduce energy intake by increasing body metabolism.
