Laura Darby, a prominent weight loss coach with 158,000 followers on Instagram, recently demonstrated how to efficiently prepare a week’s worth of healthy lunches in just 10 minutes. Her latest recipe video has garnered significant attention from her audience, showcasing the ease of meal prepping for those aiming to lose weight.
In her recent Instagram reel, Laura emphasized that many individuals struggle to find time for meal preparation. She reassured her followers, stating, “We’re going to do a week’s worth of tasty lunches in ten minutes – all low-calorie, high-protein. So if you’re trying to lose fat, you don’t have the excuse that you don’t have time.”
To prove her point, Laura set a timer, demonstrating her meal prep skills live. She began by preparing protein bagels from Marks & Spencer, slicing them in half for later use.
Next, she combined cooked chicken with Caesar dressing, croutons, lettuce, and light mayo, creating Chicken Caesar sandwiches. “I love sourdough bread,” she remarked, as she completed her first meal.
Continuing her prep, Laura mixed pasta with smoked salmon, pesto, and Philadelphia Lightest, declaring, “Two more meals done!” as she stored the mixture in a container.
She then turned her attention to canned tuna, mixing it with light mayo for a quick filling for her bagel. Laura suggested pairing this bagel with an apple and low-calorie crisps, resulting in a lunch totaling 554 calories and providing 41 grams of protein.
In addition to the bagel, she added a serving of low-calorie jelly to her Chicken Caesar sandwiches, making the entire meal 492 calories with 35 grams of protein.
Laura’s quick meal prep tips offer a practical solution for those looking to maintain a healthy diet while managing their time effectively. Her approach demonstrates that with a little organization, nutritious meals can be both simple and speedy to prepare.
