Khloe Kardashian has opened up about the methods she used to shed 40 pounds, revealing that she once turned to laxatives as part of her weight loss routine. The 40-year-old reality star, who famously transformed from 163 lbs to 123 lbs, credited a combination of intense workouts and a healthy diet for her weight loss. However, in the latest episode of The Kardashians, Khloe shared some of the lengths she went to in her efforts to lose weight.
In a candid conversation with Scott Disick, Khloe admitted that during her heavier years, she would have used any method to drop pounds, including taking laxatives. “When I was fat, I would have drank that s—! I don’t get the shame of it,” Khloe said, expressing no embarrassment about her past decisions. She further explained that she was willing to try anything, from fad diets to products like Anna Nicole Smith’s TrimSpa, in the hopes of achieving a slimmer figure.
Khloe’s admission came after Scott Disick spoke about his use of Mounjaro, a medication for weight loss, and faced criticism for it. Scott expressed frustration with the judgment he received, while Khloe echoed his sentiments, revealing that she had also tried multiple weight loss trends in the past, including considering the use of Ozempic, a diabetes medication that some people use for weight loss.
Despite her past use of fad methods, Khloe has been open about how exercise has played a crucial role in her current fitness journey. She shared that working out is something she genuinely loves and that it brings her happiness. “Working out is something that makes me happy, and to do something that is this authentic to me, something that I genuinely love, makes my heart so happy,” Khloe said.
In hindsight, Khloe reflected on how she now believes a sustainable lifestyle change, rather than quick-fix solutions, is the key to long-term success. Although she once experimented with drastic methods, she now emphasizes the importance of a consistent and healthy approach to weight loss and overall well-being.
