In alignment with the Government of India’s initiative to make yoga accessible across the country, the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) has introduced a series of events under the ‘Harit Yoga’ program ahead of International Yoga Day 2025.
The events are part of the Ministry of Ayush’s 10 Signature Activities to mark the 10th anniversary of International Yoga Day. Harit Yoga blends wellness with environmental responsibility, encouraging participants to engage in yoga practice alongside tree planting, beach clean-ups, and sustainability awareness efforts.
FHRAI’s program will kick off with a yoga retreat on April 12, 2025, at the Atmantan Wellness Centre in Mulshi, Maharashtra, offering participants a peaceful environment for holistic rejuvenation. The initiative will continue with an engagement session at the FHRAI Institute of Hospitality Management in Greater Noida on April 29, 2025, aimed at promoting yoga and sustainability values among future leaders in the hospitality industry. On May 17, 2025, JW Marriott Bangalore will host a major event highlighting wellness in urban environments.
These events underscore FHRAI’s commitment to promoting yoga as a way of life and raising awareness about environmental responsibility within the hospitality sector.
